I‘ve only seen the trailer, and already I’m disappointed. For starters, it’s Keanu Reeves. He’s not even blonde, for crying out loud. No accent either. It’s PG-13, which means the definitive Constantine (as written by Garth Ennis) won’t be making an appearance. But Jar-Jar Binx just might.

Just thought I’d spread this around… the Cosgayon, Altavas, and Zaldarriaga Blog, so if you’re a Cosgayon, Altavas or Zaldarriaga, don’t be a stranger ![]()

Apt lines from one of the coolest yet least wanted bands this side of William Hung. Last night, the erstwhile center of my universe asked me to look up the lyrics to the Cyndi Lauper song ‘I Drove All Night’. Sentimental sap that I am, I was deeply touched. Even wrote a little something I was going to post over this here li’l site. Amazing what 24 hours can do, ain’t it?

It’s not much, and I’ve been through two revisions already because, well, I wanted more
It started as just a simple script to post our gigs at, then I added admin features so that other bands (FMD, among others) could use it on their websites, then I thought, why not have more features? Ever wonder why I never get anything done? Overreaching, that’s why :p
The upside is I’ve learned a whole bucketful of useful PHP stuff. The downside is, I may never get to finish it because there’s always that one more nifty feature it’s gotta have… sigh. I redid the database like six times already. Pffft. Wish me luck ![]()

It’s not like I haven’t seen this kind of thing before, especially back in high school. You know, the stereotypes we’re are categorized under that we spend the rest of our lives either trying to break away from or live up to. Jocks, geeks, beauty queens, fat. Take your pick. I’d thought I’ve been desensitized to that kind of thing.
Guess not.

Not long after (barely) being granted a fresh mandate by the American people, US President George W Bush is once again on the warpath, this time looking in the direction of the country whose regime he should have gone after in the first place: Iran. After all, Iran has already admitted to supplying Hezbollah with weapons, and is in a better position to develop (and deploy) nuclear weapons than Iraq ever was, and Iran’s increasing meddling in Iraq is bound to stir up trouble there.
This is not to say I’m for it, though. I’m not up to date on the issue and can’t really form a valid opinion… but his tendency to lash out at everything and everybody he deems a threat is frightening, to say the least. More on this after I’ve had more than four hours’ sleep straight
It’s important for people to know that I’m the president of everybody.

I’m also mindful that it takes a while for democracy to take hold. Witness our own history. We weren’t — we certainly were not the perfect democracy and are yet the perfect democracy.

WASHINGTON POST: Why do you think bin Laden has not been caught?
DUBYA: Because he’s hiding.
— Dubya offers a ludicrous answer to a serious question, interview with Michael A. Fletcher and Jim VandeHei of the Washington Post aboard Air Force One, Jan. 14, 2005

… would be to die on you. I don’t know what will happen now. If I’m alive after you read this, call me. Take me back. Love me back. Give me life again.
If not, well. I will always love you.

Been awake all night, and not because of work. Didn’t go, actually. Ever had that urge to just run and run and run until your legs give way and you collapse from sheer exhaustion? I have this restless feeling screaming at me to go do something! and yes I am doing something but it’s not anything productive and will end up half-baked and uninspired because what I really want to do is go to Jean’s apartment and get down on my knees and beg and…
Well, you get the idea.
