After years of taking (bad) photos with my trusty second hand Nikon F60, and being jealous for months with a couple of friends‘ Canon 400D’s, I finally did it. I got me a brand-spankin’ new D40x. Woot. Thank you, Hidalgo. The street, not the horse.

One thing I just realized is that the D40x’s RAW files can’t be read except by Photoshop CS3. Adobe’s Lightroom can’t read it.
So excuse me a moment while I check my BitComet download status…
