Far From Neutral Notions – Philippine politics, culture and stuff

One of the really sucky things about the NBA playoffs is that the Finals are in June, which sucks for me because, being in the Philippines, that’s when classes start. It didn’t bother me much after I graduated, but now that I’m teaching, I’m once again faced with the prospect of having to watch the replay at night, with the game results already in after a very likely barrage of text messages.

Fortunately, our school has WiFi, which means I get to watch game 7 of the NBA Finals live this time around! Yes, I’m a happy camper :D
