This post represents my personal opinion; sometimes it makes sense, often not. I reserve the right to edit/delete offensive comments, but I wouldn't mind a couple of politically incorrect statements here and there.
Hot for teacher ~ Van Halen
We interrupt the normally droll political commentary for something from way off left field, and totally without a point or merit: I was watching Wishin’ and Hopin’, the 14th episode of Season 3 of Grey’s Anatomy, and I dare say, Addison (Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh) is hot. My apologies if you don’t watch the show and have no idea what the hell I’m rambling about, but hey, really, it’s your fault
What can I say, I was a sucker for Ally McBeal, too.
Do not get me wrong: Meredith (Ellen Pompeo - who is by the way in her 30’s) and Izzy (Katherine Heigl) still reign supreme on the hawtness-o-meter, but man oh man did this scene (left) where she’s checking out Alex Karev ever put my internal iPod on Simon and Garfunkel LSS mode.
Hot older women (and by that I mean older, not OLD. Just so we’re clear
) have always fascinated me: I loved The Graduate, and I found it’s spinoff, Rumor Has It, incredibly entertaining. My ex was a year and a half older than I. The hot teacher. The nurse. The doctor. The boss. Upperclasswomen. Then there’s Gretchen Barreto (rowr). Sophia Loren. Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct 2. And now, Kate Walsh.
There’s an aura about a more experienced, emotionally mature women that is incredibly erotic. They know what they want, and what they’re doing. There’s less inhibition, less BS. There’s a certain sense of sophistication and poise that a younger woman can’t match. And inasmuch as the cuteness of youth has its merits (of which there are many), the authority and confidence an older woman can be just as intoxicating. The famous scene where the camera shot from under Mrs. Robinson’s leg, and Dustin Hoffman was stammering, “Mrs. Robinson, you’re trying to seduce me”, is the perfect illustration. And an incredibly steamy scene to boot.
Which brings me back to Dr. Addison Montgomery, Kate Walsh. Cheers!

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing. ~ Edmund Burke
I actually like Walsh’s charactar more than Pompeo’s. Meredith Grey is kinda annoying. And I love love love Addison’s hair.
